For more than thirty-five years, Haywood has partnered with leading foodservice companies to develop local and national customized dining services to colleges and universities, corporations, and travel venues throughout the Southeast.
Haywood serves as an advisor on the government affairs committee for the Airport Minority Advisory Council. He has also served as chairman of the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority as well as a member on many advisory boards and committees in the foodservice, travel, hospitality, and tourism industries.
Haywood is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and North Carolina Central University Alumni. He is also a founding member of North Carolina Central University School of Hospitality & Tourism Administration (formerly the School of Hospitality Management).
Haywood is a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in business administration and marketing. He is also a graduate of Dartmouth University Tuck School of Business Minority Business Growth program.

Adrian Beard
President, Whitman May Enterprises, Inc.
Beard represents the next generation of up-and-coming food and beverage concessionaires. He has more than ten years of multi-unit restaurant experience specifically in airports. Beard, founding General Manager of UAG, serves as its Managing Partner, responsible for daily operations of Char-Grill and Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina.
Beard has also served as the vice president of operations at Denard Enterprises, Inc., where he managed daily operations of Papa John’s Pizza, Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina, and Einstein Bros. Bagels at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Beard is a cum laude graduate from Kentucky State University with a B.A. in public administration. He earned an M.B.A. from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. In addition, Beard has completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program at Babson College in Massachusetts.
